Medicines are the most common intervention in healthcare. The increasing population of older citizens, who often have several co-morbidities, necessitates the use of numerous medications. This in turn presents a range of challenges with regards to medicines optimisation. The event NICH EcosystemMeeting ‘Medicines Adherence’ aimed to explore what health professionals, pharmacists, patients and industry can do to combat this growing challenge.
Digitalis showed the latest developments on STEPSelect, Clinical Rules, Prescriptor and Formulary management to an enthusiastic audience, with presentations by Rob Brenninkmeijer, and roundtable discussions by Frans van Andel, Hugo van der Kuy, Niklas Holmberg, Florence Pince van der Aa.

NICH Ecosystem Meeting: ‘Medicines Adherence’, Agenda 25 March 2015, Belfast, hosted by Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment (DETI). Organized by the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) on Health, Social Care & Wellness.
